About the Business
After completing Double Honours in French and Spanish at University I moved to Madrid to teach English as a foreign language and immediately fell in love with Spain!
I spent three years working for Greenpeace Spain then volunteering and travelling across South America before returning to work for Friends of the Earth and the Tate in the UK. During my career, I have worked as marketing manager, copywriter, editor and proofreader, TEFL teacher and language consultant.
Since taking the Diploma in Translation in 2010 – an international benchmark qualification, I’ve been working as a Spanish to English translator based in Bath, UK. I translate website content, product information, brand manifestos and marketing materials for the environmental, retail and tourism sector as well as audio-visual scripts and subtitles for Spanish and Latin American TV documentaries, drama series and films. I currently volunteer as a translator with Save the Children España and I’m an active member of Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth.
